BOW TO THE KING OF DIRT...

I really mean that too. You can't buy a ticket to nonsense like what you're about to encounter if Morris Mosley runs for city counsel against Carol in District 1. I almost want to ask if someone is selling season passes for the city election. What's the going rate on front row tickets to the debate? Morris will, undoubtedly come away with the bulk of the Black vote in that district, the question is (as always) will they show up to the polls? Oh yeah, and does Morris live in the district, have the money to run, is legally eligible, and can keep himself out of trouble until then? besides those minor things, it ought to be a race!
Please Morris, Please have Marvin E. be your campaign adviser! If so, I'll mow the lawn more often, eat all my veggies, and respect my elders. Just give that gift to us all, the gift of laughter. Wait... I tickled myself so bad I had to pee... (No Marvin not pee squatting like you, but standing up, you know, like a man does.)
What's scary and funny is that despite this he may still give Carol a problem just out of his sheer tenacity! You see, flawed judgment, poor advisers, and questionable ethics weren't an issue in Morris' ability to find over 900 votes in the last campaign. Of course that was city wide but still...How embarrassing would it be to lose your seat to Morris? Especially considering that he's really got nothing to lose in running against you! What are you going to say about a man with his history that hasn't been said already? It's like spraying water on a catfish, you think the catfish cares about getting wet? Well Morris is like that with scandal, he's so used to it, it doesn't even phase him anymore! I just look forward to what new and exciting things will come out of the mix this time. I got dibs on the made for TV movie rights!
Be careful Carol, I know you can get dirty and I even applaud it in some ways, but this guy is out of your league in the dirt department. He lives in the dirt, loves the dirt, he...well he is the king of all that is dirt. (Morris I mean that in the best possible way)
Somebody save me a seat...

What would they do if Morris did win. Would they have to amend the counsel seating to accomodate him on the black side of the table or would he have to sit with those white folks?

Good question! Of course Morris is going to want to sit in the mayor's seat ( that is, after he throws the city manager's seat out of the chamber room! ) Maybe we'll get a new pulpit in the center. This way if he needs to "Sick his friend Jesus" on anyone he'll have a nice tall stage to do so from.

Sic his friend Jesus.... oh, yes, I remember that night so well.

Actually, Morris' seat would move each meeting with his change in residency. By the end of the year it would be in DeSoto.

Oh, Morris was at Monday night's school board meeting, official sign that he's running for something.
